Review on the Logitech K400 Wireless Keyboard

Have you been searching for a new keyboard for your computer? What about a simpler way to web-browse on your TV since the remote is useless, annoying and impractical?

I have found the keyboard for you…

The Logitech K400 wireless keyboard.

Over the past month, I have had the pleasure to experiment and have some fun with the Logitech K400 wireless keyboard. Including a ton of special features that I have found very useful, this keyboard has it all.

Researching several different wireless keyboards, Logitech contains one distinct feature that other keyboards do not include; a built in track pad.

Having a track pad on a keyboard is beneficial when using with a smart TV! The days of using the remote to type in a simple web address are over with. The Logitech K400 makes web browsing on your TV entertaining and enjoyable. Another benefit of the track pad is that it is a multi-touch pad. So you are able to use two fingers to scroll down the page with ease.

The Logitech K400 is also extremely lightweight! If you’re like me and like to browse the internet via the television in bed, this is the keyboard for you. You forget it’s in your lap. The way the Logitech is designed, storing it when not in use is easy and convenient.

The Logitech K400 also has a lot of shortcut buttons for the use on Windows computer platforms including:

  • Search
  • Settings
  • Play/pause/mute/volume
  • Page up/page down.

Unfortunately, Mac computers are not compatible with the Logitech K400.

The Logitech’s structure is durable and pliable. Although, I don’t recommend it, I believe that if it was dropped accidently, it would be able to remain damage free.

The only con that I have about the keyboard is that the “shift” key is a little small for my liking. Much smaller than a regular shift key. It is the size of a regular letter key.

Once you start typing with the Logitech K400, it’s a stress-free adjustment.

Overall, this is a great keyboard! I personally think it was a great purchase and I use it daily.

You can pick one up on Amazon for $30! A great price for a wireless keyboard with a track pad that you can use on your computer and TV!

Song of the Week 1/28/13

Hey guys!

I’ve had this song stuck in my head for seriously like two weeks now, so I figured I’d share it with you guys! It’s called “45” and it’s by Gaslight Anthem. Few things I like about this song. First, the music is super catchy right from the start. I also like the vocal styling! Has that new age hard rock feel to it with the old 90’s punk gang vocals. LOVE IT! Check it out! Let me know what you think!

Also, sorry noone has posted! Things got a little crazy! I have been working on some blogging ideas though! Also plan to have some videos for you to check out in the near future! It’s been so awesome to see so many people find us interesting! We’ve gotten a nice number of followers and lots of viewers from all over the world in the short time we’ve been posting! Thanks for sticking with us and being awesome!

Chinchillas… the Perfect Pet?

Recently, I started living with my Dad. One of the first rules he laid down was the good ole’ pets rule. He said, “No cats, dogs, or anything that will messy the house up,”. That gave me some good guide lines to follow while looking for a new pet to purchase.

I did a whole bunch of research on smaller animals. I figured something that could live in a cage would be best. That’s when I came across chinchillas. Pictured above is my 7 month old chinchilla, Myles. I bought him from a chinchilla breeder here in my hometown (I got really lucky!). There are many things I love about chinchillas. For one, they don’t smell. I clean Myles’s cage about once a week, sometimes I let it go a little longer if I get super busy, but even then you would never know I had a animal in my room. Second, they are literally like holding a cloud. It’s the first thing everyone says. Chinchillas are super soft. The third thing I love about chinchillas is how low maintenance they are. With my job, I’m not home a lot of the time, so I can’t always be there to take him out. Unlike other animals, chinchillas have fun being by themselves, but they do like to get out of the cage when they can.

Chinchillas I think can be a perfect match for most people, but here are a few things to know. They HATE the heat! They are from the Himalayan mountains so they like the cold. In fact, if they are in temperatures past 80, they will overheat, and most likely die. So, if you keep your house warm, then either a Chinchilla is not for you or turn down the thermostat! Second, if you want a cuddly little animal that will snuggle every night, a Chinchilla is not for you. They are active little animals, always on the move. I usually take Myles out in the morning and bring him into bed with me. He’ll usually just run around my bed, play under my sheets, and jump onto the side table next to my bed. Another thing to keep in mind is that they are nocturnal animals. That’s not to say they won’t play during the day, though. I can take Myles out at any part of the day and he’ll play with me, but at night he is VERY active, especially on his wheel. They are super low cost animals. I usually buy him a big bag of bedding which will last me months, a medium size bag of food which lasts me about 2 months, a few chew toys, some snacks and other accessories. All in all, its about $20 a month, (IF that) aside from the months you’ll have to buy bedding, which will be about every 6 months to a year, depending on the size bag of bedding you get. Starting off, chinchillas are priced by color. Some chinchillas have “rare” colors of fur, so they are more expensive. I got Myles for $150. Cages run all types of prices. I usually see decent ones for around $200.

I hope I’ve opened your eyes to the world of chinchillas. They are very cool little pets which you will love and cherish forever. They can live for up to 20 years, so many years of loving! Let me know if you own a chinchilla, or are getting ready to purchase one. As always, feel free to get ahold of me on my twitter (@ikevinreardoni). Below I’m posting a video of Myles playing!

Hello Brenna!

Hey, there! My name’s Brenda!

Anything run by two or more men should always, ALWAYS, have a touch of the feminine mixed in if you ask me. Otherwise, the testosterone just gets a liiittle overbearing. And so, here I am! Saving blogs from male domination one post at a time.

I’m a twenty-year-old, independent production worker in a warehouse. While I’m at work, I’m fixing machinery, making sure my co-workers are doing their jobs, keeping up with the line, and dealing with some not-so-pleasant issues daily. Did I mention that I work Mondays through Fridays (and occasionally Saturdays) from 4 or 6 p.m. doing 8-16 hour shifts? Needless to say, I’m a hard-working gal. But, my work uniform is always traded out for dresses and heels and ever-changing make-up routines. I can get as tom-boyish as they come, but love being a girly girl the most.

I’ve been an artist since I was in the fifth grade (about 10-years-old). I started out just doing simple drawings in graphite, but through my years of advanced art, crafts, and graphics classes, I’ve dipped my hands into basically every form of fine art there is. Everything from drawing, painting, sculpting, metal work, carving, fashion design, jewelry etc. and the list goes on and on. And all of those things are what my posts will be about. The how, why, the inspiration and technique, and everything in between.

Can’t wait to get started! Until then!
